International student FAQs
Are you are joining us as an international student from a country that does not have English as an official language? If so, generally you’ll need to provide certification of your competency in English. However, exceptions can be made if your existing academic record demonstrates that you have the right level of proficiency for postgraduate study. Find out more on our International Entry Requirements page.
To study at King’s College London, it’s vital that you’re able to communicate clearly in English. An English Language Proficiency Test is a baseline to ensure that your English level enables you to convey your ideas clearly both in spoken and written formats. This also ensures that you can engage meaningfully with the course content.
For postgraduate study, there are a number of English language tests we can accept to meet our English language requirements. For detailed information on this, please visit our Postgraduate English Language Requirements page.
As an online student, all of the webinars on your course will be recorded and made available to you via KEATS, your online learning platform. This means that even if you can’t join a webinar in real-time, you’ll still be able to watch it in full at a time that suits you.
