Dr Kalwant Sidhu
Programme Director, Public Health MSc
Kalwant is a Reader in Public Health Education at King’s College London. Trained as an occupational therapist, she worked in community rehabilitation and forensic psychiatry before specialising in community mental health and primary care. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Member by Distinction of the Faculty of Public Health. She also sits on the Faculty’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
At King’s, Kalwant has led on interprofessional teaching and curriculum design across several undergraduate allied health programmes. She has previously served as Programme Director for the Master of Public Health and as School of Life Course and Population Sciences Education Lead. She is currently co-lead for the Training and Capacity platform for the PHI-UK Population Mental Health Consortium.
