Katrin is a Lecturer in Public Health Education within the School of Life Course and Population Sciences at King’s College London. She’s a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Katrin is the School Lead for Development, Diversity and Inclusion.

Career highlights

  • Katrin completed her PhD in Neuroscience and Pharmacology at Royal Holloway, University of London in 2017 and her MSc in Global Health at King’s College London in 2018.
  • Her doctoral thesis explored the mechanism of action of ketogenic diets in seizure reduction and her MSc explored the discourse in migrant healthcare provision in Germany.  
  • As the School’s Development, Diversity and Inclusion Lead, Katrin is working with Faculty to embed best practice and principles of Diversity and Inclusion into curricula and academic practice.
