Dr Rob Gallagher

Programme Director, Digital Futures MA | Lecturer in Games and Immersive Media

Rob’s research explores the terms on which popular digital forms and genres - from videogames, memes and animated gifs to ASMR videos and grime music – serve as vehicles for artistic, personal and political expression.

He has previously held research and teaching positions at Concordia University, Royal Holloway, the University of East Anglia and Manchester Metropolitan University.
