Programme Director, International Corporate & Commercial Law LLM and International Financial & Commercial Law LLM

Dr Soterios Loizou is a Senior Lecturer in Commercial Law. He joined The Dickson Poon School of Law in April 2006 and has also served as:

  • PC Woo Fellow at King’s College London
  • TTLF Fellow at Stanford Law School
  • Hauser Global Fellow at the NYU School of Law.

He’s held visiting faculty positions with Peking University, School of Transnational Law in China, the University of Ferrara in Italy, and the University of Nicosia in Cyprus. He’s qualified to practice law in the State of New York (USA). For his research in commercial law, conflict-of-laws, and international arbitration, Dr. Loizou has been awarded numerous awards and prizes.
